Welcome to Danny, Clare, Oisin and Katies website about their visit to South Africa in August 2005. All the photographs were taken by the Cooke family members and as far as possible appear in chronological order.

    Monkey Land


    This has to have been Oisin's high light of the holiday he had a great time and got on really well with the inmate, or should that be primates. Monkey Land is situated on the N2 close to Sommerset West and is about 45 mins drive from our house.

    The Cookes tell us it is well worth a visit and the animals are kept in an impressive cage system that makes it seem that the humans are in the cage and the animals are free.
